Solid!! This place had been on my list of restaurants for a long time! It is absolutely stellar! The service is quick and very friendly, and the portions are very generous! I ordered up the two sandwich combo thinking that I wouldn't fill up with just one... Boy was I wrong! The chicken sandwich is perfectly crispy on the outside and very juicy on the inside. It has a good amount of heat on it and may get your sinuses going. Overall, this place is worth the drive!!

I don't have any complaints about this place - the chicken is seasoned well and delish, the fries are great and the sauce is tasty! Service is pretty fast every time we go and the workers are nice! Love that they have seating inside and out because it does feel a bit cold inside. My daughter loves this place so give it a try!

Lauryn was an amazing cashier! Very knowledgeable on the menu and what she is selling to the customers. Great customer service. Friendly and professional! The design in the store is so cooool! The food ! OMG THE FOOD! Must try is the tender slider! It is not small it's like a regular size burger! I tasted the crunch of the deliciously seasoned perfectly fried chicken tender that was on a bed of sweet coleslaw with the perfect crunch of the kosher pickles! The bread just tied it all in together and of course their delicious seasoning! You gotta try it. I got mild because I'm a scardycat and don't want to have my mouth on fire . We ordered cheesy fries, macaroni and cheese and had extra tenders. The chicken here hands down the best chicken tenders I've ever had! The sides made me want to cry because the slider was a five star and the sides were good buuuut not meeting the wow factor of the slider ..they did not jive..overall everything was delicious but I'm going to stick to their sliders and drinks! It is a must try!

This was my first time ordering from Dave's. The chicken was so good! You can order the spice level to your liking. They only offer tenders and nuggets, so the menu is pretty simple. I don't understand the slice of bread on the bottom though - wondering if that's just a Texas thing. I couldn't give five stars because in our to-go order, they forgot a drink. Otherwise, it would have been perfect! Everyone in my office that ordered loved their food!

Great chicken! I was surprised that the lite mild - medium wasn't too hot. Service was way quicker than I expected! Location was clean and cool inside even in the hot summer. My cousin was dying trying to eat an extra hot tender though. It was easy to eat in the sandwich but as a lone tender, the heat was harder to endure. I was a bit disappointed in the Dave's sauce. It tastes mostly like plain mayo. I was hoping it'd more like Canes. This place is a chicken place through and through. Other than sides, if you come as a +1 hoping to get something other than chicken, you won't have much other options. But the chicken and crispy fries are tasty!

I can officially endorse this establishment after TWO tries!! The first time I had mile high hopes and my sister on the phone ready to give this place a go. Restaurant is COLORFUL, lots of street art style murals inside with their mascot as their main subject. Bright, spacious and clean. Meal did take a little while to cook, I can only assume it's because they have high volume online orders. The only real mistake was ordering a Medium spice level slider, because while crunchy and yummy it was lacking any real heat and just missing that something special. Fries were fine, fresh, seasoned, and crinkle cut style. Signature sauce was lovely. However, not completely satisfied, I decided to order DHC again a few days later. This time HOT! Hoping it would really round out the meal and be that missing piece! Well well well... let's just say every bite was bursting with flavor and fire. It was delicious. And painful. I had to suck on ice cubes for a long while after my meal. I decided that I just needed to not take pauses between bites and just let the heat hit me all at once after I was done eating. The spiciness is all seasoning it seems, WHICH I LOVED. All texture and crispness no soggy sauce over here. I'll be back for round 3 (and 4 and so on)!

Having been to Nashville recently, I was so excited to try Dave's HC. The menu is simple: chicken sandwich and tenders customized by your choice of sauce: heat level. We ordered the the tenders and the sandwich and chose the hot and the medium. The hot is hot but delicious. The medium is also good. I really like the seasoning on the fries and enjoyed the pickle slices. The vanilla milkshake was really good. We will definitely bet back when we're in San Antone. See pics!
